These are all the possible hands a player can have in the order in which they rank:
Royal Flush: An Ace/King/Queen/Jack/10 all of the same suit
Straight Flush: Any five card sequence all of the same suit, like 7/8/9/10/Jack
Tiebreaker: Highest numbered card
Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same number, like 8/8/8/8 or King/King/King/King
Tiebreaker: Highest numbered four of a kind. Then, highest 5th card.
Full House (Also Called a Boat): Three of a Kind and a Pair in the same hand, like 8/8/8/3/3.
Tiebreaker: Highest numbered group of three. Then, highest group of two.
Flush: Five cards all of the same suit, but not in any sequence, like 5H/7H/2H/KingH/AceH.
Tiebreaker: Highest numbered card.
Straight: A five card sequence of multiple suits, like 5D/6H/7H/8S/9H.
Tiebreaker: Highest numbered card
Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same number, like 8/8/8.
Tiebreaker: Highest numbered group of three. Then highest other card.
Two Pair: Two separate pairs, like King/King/4/4.
Tiebreaker: Highest high pair. Then highest low pair. Then highest fifth card.
Pair: Two cards with the same number, like 5/5
Tiebreaker: Highest pair. Then highest other card.
High Card: If no other hands are present, the player with the highest card wins.
Tiebreaker: If two players have the same highest card, the player with the second-higest card wins, and so on.
